Weird but I used to fancy my step sister?

I need help with a problem I had.

When I was 15 and my step sister was 12 or 13 I used to fancy my step sister a lot and I did not have a girlfriend or anything during puberty so I was extremely curious about girls.

I think I remember that one night during the night I went into her room for about 30 seconds and laid a hand on her covers where her leg might have been, then realised that what i'm doing is risky and went back to my bed and never did it again.

I know that's really messed up and weird - trust me I KNOW. I am 18 now and when I think back to that I feel so ashamed and embarrassed. I don't know what to do, was what I did unforgivable? I know it was insanely weird and creepy but I think I was just so curious and I liked her and I knew that nothing could ever happen between us due to our age and the fact that we were step brother and sister.

What should I do to get over these embarrassing memories?

I feel like some sort of freak, and that the fact I did that means I should be like publicly humiliated or locked away.

Anyway, to the point: you were a stupid kid. I did tons of stupid things as a kid that I never told a single person because they were creepy things and just weird. So, I'd just laugh it off and forget about it. Move on. Don't let them drag you back into the past, or else it will cause awkwardness with her. You know it was wrong now, just as I know the things I've done were wrong. So, relax. It's not like you're going to ask her out now.

I know but I just worry about like... was what I did illegal? In terms of "bad touch"? lol.

I dunno I genuinely never thought about it again until recently (I suffer from anxiety meaning that when I get a thought in my head I will obsess and worry about it and this is just the current worry).

Yeah but is 15 not a bit "old" for that? What if it was 16? Or do you just reckon most things below 17 or 18 are excusable?

I have a girlfriend at the moment and have been dating her for about 3/4 of a year now. This latest worry has just made me feel like I really don't deserve her because if she knew this about me I know she would not want to be anywhere near me because it's weird.

Why are you so strung up over touching a freaking blanket? If you are telling us the truth, then it really doesn't seem that bad to us. When I was 6, I tried to rape my younger brother. I didn't know what sex was but only seen it in movies and tried to mimick it. I also had a huge crush on my hot uncle.
Just as long as you are done crushing on your sis, it's all good. Your current gf doesn't have to know. It may turn very awkward if your step sis finds out, and the more ppl u tell the more odds your sis has of finding out.

Most teenage boys are perverts. It sounds like you outgrew it, but in any case, what you did wasn't criminal, and barely constitutes creepy or unusual. What else can be expected when you throw unrelated opposite-gender kids together under the same roof during puberty?

Don't bring it up, and quit worrying about it. And obviously, don't do it again. It could lead to trouble.
