Not getting pregnant since 2 years. what may be reason?

I am married and 32, My periods has been almost regular, now l wish to have children for my husband for the past 2 years but nothing seems to come out. I usually have my periods between 21 - 24 days after each period and the flow is very small sometimes it lasts for only 24 hours and mostly 48 hours. What must be wrong with me? I went to the hospital but the doctor says l have a small fibroid outside the womb which is not a reason why l should not get pregnant. Initially we were using birth control method, but since 2 yrs i had stopped it completely. We have intercourse almost 3-4 days a week. i believe its enough to concieve. He asked me to go for a scan which will be done only when my period starts. What text is that? l will be very grateful for your help.

Vibha, there are a number of reasons for infertility. Talk further with your doctor....and get your husband's fertility tested too.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

Yes after two years of trying-you need help from a fertility clinic. You can both be tested and you may need IVF or something else. You have lots of options so go and get as much info as possible.

If you've taken birth control pills for a while this may be the reason. My doctor tells me that she is seeing way more infertility now a days due to the common use of birth control pills. What the pharmaceutical companies are not telling you is that all that synthetic hormones are causing long term effects on the body yet doctors are still prescribing birth control from everything from acne to menstral cramps to pregnancy prevention. Similar to cigarette companies in the 50's. I've been on birth control pills for a decade and came off it. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is the number one reason for female infertility. I would suggest for you to ask your doctor for a pelvic ultrasound to make sure there aren't any cysts on your ovaries and to rule out poly cystic ovarian syndrome.

I doubt its that-poly cystic ovaries coz there are lots of symptoms such as weight gain, excess body hair, mood swings. Poly cystic ovaries is the result of two much testosterone so if she had that she would probably know already.

^ not true. I have poly cystic ovaries and I'm in no way overweight. I'm 110 pounds, I don't have the "common" symptoms like hairiness etc. I had no symptoms until my ultrasound test showed this to be the case. Unfortunately birth control pills is what causes them and ironically birth control pills is what the doctor can prescribe to help cure it. If I knew the long term effects of synthetic hormones I would have never taken birth control pills in the first place... But of course you trust your doctors and they prescribe birth control for everything...but when you think about it, it does make sense that your body, hormones, female reproductive organs will suffer in some way due to the huge surge of unnatural hormones in the form of a pill you take everyday in order to fake your body to think its already pregnant when its not. And when your faking your body to think its pregnant since the age of 15 like many sexually active teens out there and continue taking the pill into your 20's until your 30's when you are ready to conceive...you better believe that all those years of f#cking with human nature must take a toll. You body was led to believe it was pregnant since the age of 15 and now you are telling your body it was all a joke and now you really wanna get pregnant?
