My husband wakes me up every night.... touching me! Why?

This is sort of an odd thing, but here goes. Every night almost, I am waken up by my husband rubbing my clitoris with his fingers and putting his fingers inside me. This usually happens at around 2-3 a.m. We got married 8 months back. Well, he only gets like 6 hours of sleep a night and that is if he sleeps through and doesn't wake up to do this to me. I will actually sleep through it for some time, and have a dream that someone or something is on me and I cant get it off! He will keep doing this until I respond, which could be a very long time if I am trying to just ignore it so I can go back to sleep. He won't do anything else, or say anything to me at all, he just waits for me to respond, and keeps rubbing. It is kind of funny because he's been doing it for quite a while and I am not really that annoyed by it, I am more concerned that he's not getting the sleep he needs to get up at 7:30 for work. We have sex almost daily before he falls asleep, then a couple hours later, he's at it. I asked him if he was having sex dreams then waking up to get laid, and he said that he does not remember any of his dreams. He has a pretty high sex drive because he almost penetrates me everyday...I on the other hand could take it or leave it. Is this odd behavior? Any ideas as to why he takes this approach instead of trying something else?

Sounds like hes addicted. Like alcoholic who cant asleep knowing that unfinished bottle is open.
However its good that you are woried about his sleep cause 6 hours really isnt much.

From my own expierience sleeping feels like waste of time like you are missing something at the same time, so you sleep like in the alert state. Its very bad for the heath in longer run like few months or so.

You ask why he takes this approach.....what does he say when you discuss it with him? He's the only one who can tell y why he does it

Sounds like he has insomnia. He wakes up and can't get back to sleep. He gets bored and your pussy is the only thing in bed of any interest, so he goes at it. There are sleep aides at the pharmacy. I prefer Walmart brand Benedryl which called diphenhydramine HCl, 50mg HS will pretty much knock me out for the night. I have tried Ambien which is a much more potent Rx, but that stuff is nasty. Ambien will keep me in a state of half sleep for a major portion of the following day. Not getting enough sleep could be a major problem if your husband has a position of responsibility for other people's lives, like a bus driver, conductor or pilot, or a doctor or surgeon. If the worst thing he could do is mess up somebody's order at the drive thru, I wouldn't even worry about it.

He's horny in the middle of the night and waking you up this way turns him on. It's as simple as that.

Ya he is just being horny. He wakes up to a hardon and doesn't want to waste it. Since you provide sex to him during waking hours, maybe suggest to him to masturbate in the bathroom in the middle of the night....buy him some porn mags and put them under the sink.... You definitely need to talk to him about this. Yes you are his wife, but it doesn't mean he has 100% access to your vagina 24-7.

You bragging Op or did you really want to know why he touches you during the night? If you really want to know why he touches you and you're not just bragging then you should simply ask him why he's having non-consensual sexual contact with you. Let us know what he says.

You've been married for 8 months and every night he wakes you up rubbing your genitals and you've never asked him about it? Now that is just as odd as him being selfish enough to wake up his sleeping wife every night to get laid.

LOL. I look at in the reverse if I had a GF or wife waking me up for sex I would LOVE it. An exGF used to do that, not every night but sometimes...it was an awesome way to wake up. Or if I went to the bathroom during the middle of the night she would wake up and want sex and be READY for it, that was great too.

But, in all honesty talk to him about it and let him know how you feel. IMHO he is horny as hell, loves you, and can't help himself. I know even after almost 5 years with my exGF my horniness didn't decrease at all and I still wanted it whenever I could get it. So maybe he just has a higher sex drive then you.

Fla: Most people in a mutually loving relationship wouldn't mind being woken up in such manner occassionally but to have him do it without consent is indeed technically rape. Most of us wouldn't consider it as such but it is and for OP to come HERE instead of speaking to her husband about it reeks of T.R.O.L.L

She's "concerned he's not getting his sleep." pfffft.

"He will keep doing this until I respond, which could be a very long time if I am trying to just ignore it so I can go back to sleep." Ever tried just telling him to stop for goodness sakes?

Totally agree. You're making too much out of this. I thought most guys were like this in the middle of the night when they want some and yes it's pesky when you're tired or not in the mood but it's not a big deal.

Could it be that hes giving you a hint that he wants a quickie? Or it could be one of those sleep phobias. You need to comunicate. Have you asked im y he does that?
