Wayyyy!! Got accutane

As a lot of you know I have got moderate acne which has messed me up a bit and made me a very unconfident person.

Well i've seen a dermatolagist and been given accutane which is like a miracale drug for clearing up acne.

Hopfullt i'll be clear by the time college re-starts in September and maybe i'll have the confidence to finally ask out the girl whos been in my mind since February!!!

yaaaaaay! congratulations! have you ever tried salt scrubs? the salt and some oils is supposed to be a really good natural cure for acne...

Hey - I thought I read that accutane can cause severe depression and suicidal thoughts. Watch out for that, OK?

Thats great news! I hope that your acne clears up for you. I grew up with eczema, so I know how you feel regarding to confidence. You don't feel able to look 'pretty' like everyone else does...etc Well, it's good to know that you won't be feeling like that for much longer! Good luck with asking out the girl you like.

Hahahahaaha!! sorry to dig up this old thread but after all my troubles to get accutane and all my obsessing over this girl I **** up my exams and get kicked out of college. But i'm at a new college, doing a new course and i'm a reformed man putting college work over other less important things. There's also a girl I like who goes there that I used to work with so if I play my cards right.. who knows?!?! lol

Ha! I'm picturing coffee cake. You know, your acne, your screen name...the crumbs on top of coffee cake look like acne....??

Actually I used to have this problem and anything I used on the outside of my face failed. You want them gone 100%? Here is what you do. Go back to your dermatologist or docter and ask for these .."DOXYCYCL HYC 100MG". 100mg is a good quantity. When you take these you will never know what acne is. Offcourse these are capsule pills...why? because anything else no matter what they advertise will not work for shit. Acne is do to testasterone, lack of vitamins, and hormones...not because your skin is dirty and needs some chemicals on it. Maybe accutane will work for you though. The only side effects I know of is birth defects in pregnant women and depression. Accutane is also know as Isotretinoin if you ever want good info on it.

Glad its working for you....but I hear it does have some nasty side effects....and can damage your liver.....

Yeah it can 'weaken' so to say, your liver so you cut down on the booze but i'm not a big drinker so that's not a problem. OV, i'm a guy so no worries over getting up the duff, lol. I'm on my fourth day of accutane and it's already taking affect, my skin is a lot less oily and waking up in mornings I expect to see a clear face rather then 5 or 6 new spots each day.
