It is time to bring it up now since you having feelings for him. Doesn't have to be a dramatic thing. Just casually asked him if you two can be offically gf and bf. If he goes along with it, then he is serious about you. If he doesn't, at least you will know. Don't be afraid of losing him by doing this. The right guy for you will never scare you away by saying no to this.
