what does it mean when your girlfriend takes a couple of your shirts and wears them. like she keeps them and wears them. does she feel secure?

It means she likes loose and comfy shirts to wear around the house.
FWIW, I have a pair of coveralls which used to belong to a man I now detest. They are awesome coveralls and get a lot of use when I'm painting the house. Previous ownership means little to me.Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

My husband is away from home quite a lot with his job and I quite often wear one of his shirts to bed when he's not here, I suppose yes it is a security thing in a way, makes me feel closer to him somehow
