What is the best way for me to ask out the girl I like?

I can't ask out a girl I like, Its too difficult for me to do. I always tell the girl I like her and a few days later ask her out. But it seems that when I do this all the girls get scared of me and when I try asking them out they get scared of me and say no.

What should I do. Should I tell them I like them and then ask them out or just do what I am...

But what is the best way to ask a girl out. Just say that I like her out of the blue and ask her out or have a small conversation and ask her out or tell her I like her wait for a few days then ask her out (the way i've been doing it always)?

Since you are schoolmates it's not like you are complete strangers. So it's ok to just go up to her and tell her "Hey, would you like to go out for dinner (or ice cream or whatever) with me on Saturday?". Make sure to wear a nice confident smile while you ask her.
