Today my girlfrien got big news and wanted to share with me. I was not able to answer since i was not by my phone. When i explained to her i told her i felt bad but she didnt care. I understand she is upset but shouldnt she get over it

Young girls like that still think the world should revolve around them...stop apologizing, you didn't do anything wrong......grow some balls and put her in her place.....tell her you are not going to be sitting by your phone 24-7 just for her so she better chill.

Yes, she should understand that the world doesn't revolve around her. Chalk this one up as a red flag.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

Don't indulge every unreasonable mood she has because she'll turn into a nightmare. Tell her clearly - you are being unreasonable. It's not that I didn't care, I do - I was simply not by my phone. End of story.
