Met a girl at a wedding - was she just being nice?

I met a girl at a wedding last night. We started talking a bit (it was loud, and a large group, so we didn't talk for long/a lot), but she mentioned a few times that I should come visit her in Vancouver where she lives (I live in the US). Things like, "Vancouver is awesome, you should visit. Plus I'm there " and things like that.

I know its not much info, but I figured I'd see if anyone had any thoughts.

I'm for sure going to at least try and contact her and see her reaction.

Are you viewing her as someone who's house you can couch surf at? Or as a potential girlfriend?

If it's the former, I'd say 'go for it'. If it's the latter....then it depends how far you live from Vancouver. In my opinion, long distance relationships aren't worth the effort.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
