Ever met a scam and player?

Have you ever met people who create many false accounts and personas online (facebook, twitter, websites) and use them to hook other users?

Why would anyone do something like this? Besides being a scam, player and cheat, I cannot think of any other reason.

Would you make friends with them or even date them?

This post reminds me of the show Catfish. Good show. Nope wouldn't be friends or date them,, tried the online thing for awhile but it just wasn't for me.

No, but I know lots of men and women do that. Why they do that, I would think they are bored and unhappy with their lives so they turn to make believe to give themselves something outside of their lives. I wouldn't date or be friends with someone if I knew they spent months or years lying to me. Relationships and friendships are based on trust.

They might be desperate attention seekers or it gives them an illusion of some sort of power over others. They are more likely to be immature individuals who have got plenty of time and lot's of underlying personal issues.
No I wouldn't date them.
