Why would he ask to see a movie then not try to plan a day ever...

So I went out for dinner with this guy and it went really well and a week later he texted asking when we were hanging out again , and the day following he asked me to see a movie sometime soon, see that was around a month ago and the movie thing hasn't happened yet... He hasn't made an effort to set up anything and I tired to but he got confused by my text apparently so we didn't end up going.. Wtf does he still want to go or what I mean school has been hectic so do you think he's just waiting or doesn't want to go anymore. I mean why would he ask then not want to anymore , nothing changed

Well, if the guy is interested, he would text you and try to set up a time to go out, and he will be all over you. This is my experience.
