Terrorist operation... ask KingZ for details.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

    I have two theories...

    1. It was a terrorist operation. In this scenario, I imagine that they either executed all the passengers or used the food on-board to give them enough of a meal until they could land in some other country (probably a third world one) where they could keep them captive. Now, if this is true, that means there's a bigger agenda behind it and a lot of complication that's going to accompany any rescue operations. Kind of like Without Remorse by Tom Clancy... But this possibility also raises a number of other questions too..which brings me to my second theory.

    2. This was an inside job, and it was no act of terrorism but an act of corporate espionage. Think about the plane that was being flown; it was a newer design with specialty engines that they can track by satellite when they're running. Coincidence? Perhaps, but part of me thinks it's a bit too much of a coincidence. That aircraft could be a stepping stone to another model that's far better, and there are a few companies that I imagine would be hoping to put out the next best product. And stealing the plane would make more sense than just taking some photos in the air hangar because they would be able to have it in their possession to study specifically how those engines work and even dismantle them to study the parts involved. They'd need a nice amount of time for an operation like that... But this also raises the question of what becomes of the passengers? In a situation like this, I'm not sure what would become of them... However, wouldn't it be interesting if the whole lot turned up alive in some remote location and they never figure out who was actually behind the entire operation?

Those are just my opinions anyway..even if they sound a bit far-fetched. *shrugs*

Also, I include this link as an update: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/malaysia-airlines-flight-370-possible-debris-from-missing-plane-spotted/
I highly doubt this will be the actual wreckage of the plane, but if it is, then it still could be theory 2 because the plane would already be dismantled. They'd only have to scatter the pieces with a few boats. Not to mention, a news report also by CNN this afternoon disclosed that they believe the "possible wreckage" in the Indian Ocean may be too far off course. Either way, I'm not sure. But I heard they were tracking the engines when they were running, and for a while they lost contact...only to regain it after a while. That tells me that someone deliberately shut off those turbines and restarted them. And last I checked, planes don't run on the ocean floor, which again brings me back to theory 2.

    Just some thoughts...

Tell your friends to give it back, KingZ. And introduce them to a razor.

I wonder if it was the pilot alone that caused this on purpose, disgruntled, dying did a suicide mission on his own, if it was a terrorist act, wouldn't some faction (group) claimed it by now?

It's hard to do that when you're the glue that holds the world together.

That's a bit heavy handed, if you ask me, seeing as most nations from the Middle East are over a thousand years old. If they survived their way for that long, I doubt they need any glue.
