Should I go back to her?

I proposed to my ex girl friend about a year ago and she said yes but no because she was not ready.

I couldn't handle it and left her. Now it's been a year and I've been going out with few new people and non of my new relationship works out because I always end it before it gets serious. I just find it extremely hard to move on and every time I meet someone new, I feel like I'm cheating on her. I always caught myself dreaming about her every now and then.

Did I made a mistake on leaving her? It's been a year and she didn't even try to contact me to say hi or something.

She didn't want to marry you and then when you ended it she hasn't been in contact. Doesn't sound like she wanted you that much anyway.

I suggest you keep moving forward and find a girl who loves you how you want to be loved.
