girls, is it weird to ask her on a holiday?

I am at an university college for international students and ive been here for six weeks (as have all freshers). Theres this girl who I like and weve been flirting a bit, and we went on a date a few weeks back. today my dad tells me out of the blue that we (my nuclear family and I) are going on holiday on a resort island about an hours drive (and ferry, being an island and all) from the city during the easter break (two weeks time). since villas come only as 2 person or four person, I have a two person villa to myself, and dad said im welcome to invite someone from college, expenses paid. Its only for the easter weekend, and its very close to our college but is it weird if I ask her to come seeing as Ive only known her six weeks? all the other international students seem to be going on holiday together as its too expensive to fly back to families. I know she has no plans and will be staying in college for the easter holidays.
