Ladies i have a female friend who sometimes when i bump into her particular if shes with her mum she will start fiddling with her phone as where talking, or sometimes she will mess with her phone as if shes.trying.to avoid me, strange when where friends, do you think its nerves

Dunno about nerves....but it is quite rude. If it bothers you, why don't you ask her why she does it?

it depends.
Does she tell you what she is doing with her phone? Who she is texting? What the conversation is about??
If not, it is rude and she is not interested in you being there.
Move on.
