Does my online friend like me? Please help me!

About one year ago I met a guy on the internet. I normally don't do that kind of stuff because I have seen shows like catfish and what not. I find it a bit scary to be honest. But this guy seemed really nice and I felt comfortable with him quite soon. He was meeting people from Europe, he has many friends here.

He is in Europe now, and has poor wifi. But about a month ago he was at a place were he had good wifi. So we skyped three times for about 4 or 5 hours each time. We talked and laughed. It was fun. Then he got back to a hostel so we couldn't skype anymore. Right then I realized that I missed him, I was beginning to develope feelings for this guy.

We talk allot. About everything. Movies, music, family, the future, fears... everything. He tells me that he will visit me this summer, he tells me I should visit him in England, he tells me we should go to the opera house in Sydney one day. He complements me on my character, tells me I'm a nice person and tells me that he likes me. And everytime we finish the conversation, we finish with a heart.

But I don't know if he likes me the way I like him. There is this other girl, also european. And I have a feeling they are quite close. Also, he makes it clear on facebook that he is in love with 'someone'. Him and this girl have already met.. He has talked about her with me ones, when he told me he pulled a prank on her.

I am getting mixed signals here. Can please, someone help me with this. What should I do?

I see what you mean Shira. You like this guy in special way and you want him to have the same feelings.

Theres sure something very friendly going on between you two. You should ask him if he likes you more than friend, after you told him about your feelings.
