I'm confused

So I work with this guy, he constantly teases me about my accent and the fact that I'm English, he seems to stare at me quite a bit and looks for me when I'm not where I should be. He also makes a point of being at my desk quite regularly during the day. He left work this evening only to come back 20 mins later to be at my desk, I wasn't there I was on break.
The other day he brought some visitors to my unit and made a joking comment about me being English. After they left I brought the fact that he teases me about being English constantly. He said he only does it because he likes me!!!
One of our other colleagues also says he only teases me because he likes me. He's quite a friendly guy and when I told her that I thought he teases everyone she said "no not really" she works directly with him all the time.
Do you think he likes me, in the fact that fancies me or likes me as a friend?
Sorry for asking but I've been out of the dating game for a long tim and find men very confusing

If he looks at you it don't mean he likes you as a friend. It means he fancies you - finds you to be pleasurable to stare at.

^^^ Well, that may be true but it does not indicate HOW he likes her: Friend or otherwise. I suggest that next time he teases you, you tease him back and make it known that you "like" him too. Hopefully he has some ballzzz and will eventually ask you out. Or you could do the modern thing and suggest the two of you have a drink or something after work. Do you even know if he's single?
