If you had a dream of you and your partner breaking up do you think it means anything in terms of real life and it happening there? Do you think any type of dream may happen in real life?

Some dreams are rubbish and some reflect our feelings.
This one with you dreaming about ending your relationship would be, without a doubt, a reflection of your current confusion about the relationship. I would assume your mind is open to the possibility of ending things.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
One questions: in the dream, how did you feel about breaking up? Sad, relieved, etc?

Maybe, maybe not. Dreams are weird. They can be a reflection of our thoughts and feelings or they can be just complete random nonsense. I've had dreams where I am explosively, unbelievably angry at somebody (friend, family member) to the point of heated and hate-filled verbal altercations....
Yet in real life, I'm not currently mad at that particular person in any way..... nor am I actually mad at ANYBODY in any way. Like, in other words, there are no other current feelings of anger that would explain the dream, so for me it was just completely random. So, sometimes dreams can and do reflect your current feelings, but sometimes they just mean nothing.
Dreams don't mean anything. Human beings are constantly searching for meaning in things where there is none. If you want to break up with your partner, do it. Don't let your dreams direct important decisions of your life.
I dreamed that I lost two really big hairy spiders in my sisters bed last night.....

I've had a few dreams that actually happened word for word and action for action. I've also had nightmares where I was chased by ghosts through a fun house and beat them back with my xylophone playing
Are you having serious relationship issues?
If yes, this might be a sign.
If no, this is your sub-conscious making crap up
If you had an argument that got out of hand a week ago, you sub-conscious is probably channeling this incident.
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
For my part, my dreams are almost always bizarre and very rarely have any basis in reality at all. I've sometimes had dreams in which I was a movie character or comic book character or sometihng that I hadn't even thought of for years. Or meeting celebrities who hadn't crossed my mind in forever. I remember having a dream one time where I met Hulk Hogan... and it was at a time when he hadn't been on TV for a while. Sometimes they are just fun little movies in our head and nothing more.
I can't recall what the dream was about now haha. But dreams are indeed weird.
Dreams are thoughts or images clumped together to form mini movies while you sleep.
They can be nonsense, and mean nothing or they can be worries you have in waking life being played out in dreams because they are concerns for you.
Though, if you dream of murders that wind up coming true, don't tell anybody or they might just shave you bald and dope you up, sleeping in a pool wired to a bunch of machines and invent "Pre-crime."
