    Working Together as a Team?

Ever since my Boyfriend found out of me being a freelance writer and photographer for my own website and other publications online and in print. He says him and I should work together as a team, so we can be closer. To me, I have always worked alone, having my Boyfriends past and present, help me when going to shows, they come to enjoy the show, their time with me, and if I need help, they could help me, otherwise they just come to have fun the both of us. But he says that if we worked together as a team, then we would be able to go to more shows and be together more often. So what should I do?

Not long ago you told us that you're living with your parents and can't drive their car far because you're unemployed.

If you're going to effectively troll, it would serve you well to remember the story

Well the story is changing, I do have a car, and my driver's license, I just don't have insurance and won;t get insurance until I get a job. And even if I did have those 2 things I know my parents would not allow me to go to concerts by myself.

So your boyfriend wants to work with you in the job you don't have?

Do you want to work with him? if yes, then let him take part in it and just have fun together. If not, just tell him you prefer to do it on your own.
I'm a freelance Something on my own time too, but I get paid/make profit.
Why not find a job that pays you so you can get your own insurance? Retail or so. Even if the job doesn't pays much, at least it another source of your income.
You talk about your parent forbiding you to do some stuff alot, even if when you're close to 30. Can you show them that you are "mature" enough to do things on your own? Are they from a culture that's very traditional? Or you have some kind of disability that makes them worry about you? ( I'm not mocking you, just curious)

My parents are just picky about the type of work I do and what hours I would work. Like a lot of the jobs I did have a chance at were all graveyard shifts and they disliked that so they wouldn't let me work there. So they suggested fast food places instead, but I don't want to work fast food.

Okay... Seriously; this is some 14 year old boy pulling our leg.

If you're not, then please let us know the addy to that "my own website" that you reference when you said this: "Ever since my Boyfriend found out of me being a freelance writer and photographer for my own website" If you can't provide a web addy for your own website then go play WoW or something and leave us alone.

Still didn't really answered my curiousity.
Honey, let's not focus on what your parent want. What do you want to do or what type of job are you looking for? Again, not about what your parent want.

I know tons of people who work in fast food and also go to school. Then later found a better job afterward then just wasting their youth away waiting for the job to come to them. What if your parent are gone, what will you do? Will you just waste your time away just hanging out with your boyfriend jobless? What if you want a to start a family, how will you guys support yourself? have his parent take care of you? :/
i even know people with disability who have jobs.

I'd rather not work with a partner, it would be too much time spent in each others' company. I'd rather work in different work spaces and come together after work.

He does want to do photography when him and I go to events, so if he wants to do that then he can. I know I am doing my own work because it's what I have always done in the past.
