    Lost In Translation

Lost In Translation, Starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson, had to be one of the most emotional movies I have ever watched. It made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me giddy and it made me cry. I really did enjoy it. Watch it if you love a good drama. Let me give you a little info on it now.

    Summary from IMdB.com

Bob Harris (played by Bill Murray) is an American film actor, far past his prime. He visits Tokyo to appear in commercials, and he meets Charlotte (Scarlett Johannson), the young wife of a visiting photographer. Bored and weary, Bob and Charlotte make ideal if improbable travelling companions. Scarlet is looking for "her place in life," and Bob is tolerating a mediocre stateside marriage. Both separately and together, they live the experience of the American in Tokyo. Bob and Charlotte suffer both confusion and hilarity due to the cultural and language differences between themselves and the Japanese. As the relationship between Bob and Charlotte deepens, they come to the realization that their visits to Japan, and one another, must soon end. Or must they?

i didn't mind this movie. i thought the affection they had for each other was cute. seeing bill murray in this kind of movie was a bit strange. scarlett johansen (sp) is a pretty good actress. they milked the japanese stereotype to death, but it was well funny. i'll give it a B

haha, i just watched this movie last night. Weird

Personally, i liked it. It was amusing to see how these two complete strangers connected on some level mostly out of convienence. And yes, I am a huge bill murray fan.
