Need some good material to read on dating and relationship

Subject: Need some good material to read about the foundations of dating and relationship

Its quite hard to develop a single philosophy for relationship in this internet age. Example I read a bit of Mark Manson for a while; people were praising him. And in another blog there were women posting what a sociopath he was. There are lot of writings on "how to approach dating and relationships" from men's eyes which are biased and not holistic. I would like to get a women's perspective of the same on dating and relationship. Which books or blogs or worldviews for men to adopt, you think, goes well with your acceptance of their approach and skills for dating? For a very un-nuanced person like me there is a lot to learn. Thanks, have a good day

Might be a decent book for you in amongst these.

I don't know why dating is such a challenge or a mystery for people. You chat, flirt and ask them out on a date....on the date you chat, flirt, laugh smile, touch, lean in, mirror, eye contact, be interested and be interesting.....pretty simple stuff.

The best Philosophies come from personal experience, not books.

Most of the greats, be they philosophers or writers came about their various, now noted quotations through personal experiences, either through a moment of coincidence or that of a serendipitous occurrence, but you'll have to be present, very present in such a moment to capture such a revelation, then... write it down and recite it often when the situation calls for it, keep a journal of such occurrences.

Be your own best friend, I would suggest not seeking fulfillment outside of yourself, that doesn't mean think only of yourself, but think highly of yourself, it's not wrong to do so and if others think otherwise then thats simply their problem.

Never compromise your standards and ethics to placate someone else ( people pleasing) for in so doing you will surely lose site of your identity, this can happen so gradually you hardly even notice it, and before you know it all of your ideas, beliefs and yes even some of your habits have changed, it would seem as if they're someone elses thoughts, and thats precisely because they are someone elses thoughts, you don't need a book to develope your own philosophy on relationships, maybe as a controle by which to simply gage your philosophy, good luck.
