To me it means play games, string him along, play hard to get - not be so available to him when he calls or texts you.
But I always think all that does is get you remaining single, just like girls don't like guys playing games, guys hate it when girls play games as well.

I think it's important for women to not be so easy. It's well known that guys don't fall in love as quickly as women. If he is really interested he will demonstrate that he's prepared to go that extra mile. i.e. make an effort to be with her - that doesn't mean game playing.
