    Crush on dancefloor

So i was getting a vibe that this girl liked me, she gave away so many hints. I went to a school dance they other night, i had a bit to drink.

It all started well, i had my shades on, on the dance floor. I felt someone hitting me on the back, i turned around and it was her but she was looking at her friends so I ignored it.

A couple minutes later i heard her shout my name, she looked happy to see me, i even gave her a classy one arm hug before moving back into the heart of the dance floor.

Later in the night she asked me to set her cousin with my brother, so we got them to dance together.

Then my friends pushed me and her together and were forcing us to hook up. It was so bad. Even her cousin was there yelling 'do it'. But it didnt happen, she was saying "i cant i cant".

She messaged me that night saying she was sorry and that she likes someone else. So confused on what to do!

    Help!

You seem like a social guy. Should be easy to move on and find a better girl. So do it. Maybe go to a nighclub and have there with a friends. Who knows some decent girls could be there.

I actually suffer from social anxiety, and i get no girls because of my appearance. When i drink the anxiety leaves and im myself. Sad but true

When you have anxiety you just have to push yourself into social situations. Also dont think but just do. Act on a heartbeat. Looks seems important at young age but when you find a girl who accepts you then looks dont matter that much anymore. Girls care more about confidence than looks so you should work on that more. Experience and doing the right thing and trying to be a better man will give you confidence.

    bullshit right there

if you are well groomed and get yourself in shape then chances are that women will like you for your appearance.
If you are not in shape but well groomed you still have a chance.
If you reek and smell like - well you get the idea.

about your social anxiety: where does it come from?
You imagine interactions beforehand vividly going bad? Or you just dont know how to behave?
    or something different?

And about the girl. What is your problem? you had a fun night out. The other people were being stupid towards both of you. You can always tell her you think she is cute and you like her and youd like to *grab a coffe* (or whatever else it is you wanna do) with her - without jerks around.
All she can say is no.

You are ashamed that you like someone else or what?
If you think I am insulting you with my post or bashing you: You do not get the point.
I am not here to insult or bash anyone. I offer up my free time to help. Take from my post what is useful to you.
If you are angry about my post or myself, then please stop and think how that happened. Usually that is the way the brain responds if a critical belief system is challenged (its called cognitive dissonance). If you have trouble with it please answer in the thread. I will come back to you.
