Question: Long Distance Advice

So I went out on two dates with this great guy who's really serious about me and we get along really well. But unfortunately we've been doing long distance. This is very recent and at the start we were both trying not to come on too strong and now things are working out. we talk on the phone every other day or 4 days sometimes. But some times when I tell him how my day is going he gives me space cause he thinks im busy (which im not). It shows he cares but My question is how do I communicate that i want him to talk to me without being needy ? Should i initiate the conversation each time.

If you want to talk to him, talk to him. When you want to call, call him. That's what you would like him to do, so why not do it yourself?

Yeah just say something first. It should be 50% vs 50% on who starts talking first.
