A spider is not an insect. It is an arachnid-it has eight legs instead of six, and has no wings or antennae. The same is true for the "Daddy Longlegs" scorpion's mite, and tick--none is technically part of the insect class.

The most interesting one I find is a platypus



A Mamal that lays eggs and uses venom to stun it's victims. They use Electroception to detect prey (The Platypus can determine the direction of an electric source, perhaps by comparing differences in signal strength across the sheet of electroreceptors). They have no teeth. They have legs on the side of the body, like a reptile and store fat in their tail.

apparently , more ppl are scared of spiders than they are of death ... did you know that in 1 year you will eat in general 2-3 spiders in your sleep .... and those are just spiders ... now imagine all bugs ... hehe , nice dreams

I use to be afraid of spiders, but now I don't mind them. They help keep insects out your house.

The one creature that I pray I never never never run into, and the only animal that instills true fear into me is:

I think it's mostly because in the water you are so much more helpless than anything you encounter outside of it..

Sharks don't scare me, I just don't go in the water. That's why that movie Jaws never made sense; why didn't they just stay on land??

Sharks makes me go petrified . I would feel despair if i would be at sea and i see a shark coming . But iv been at sea already and i want afraid . Other than that ... im scared of being sterile (meaning not be able to get a woman pregnant)
