Original poster - the guilt may be related to "using" girls for your own pleasure because you may recognize that most girls only do this in hopes of establishing a lasting relationship which you aren't prepared to deliver.

I really don't understand this, women in this day and age hanging onto this residual judeo-christian ideal that women should not have sex outside of a meaningful relationship. There are plenty of mature, scrupulous women who are open to sexual relationships without attachment; they're not soulless sex terminators from the future.

It seems to be only in America, too. Go to Europe and tell any woman its slutty to have anonymous sex or sex without the intentions of attachment, and they'd probably just laugh in your face and call you prude.
