True, but where I live, girls are giving blow jobs to boys in between the buildings at school in Junior High (ages 12-13), and we end up with a few Jr. High pregnancies every year in our district. That tends to make a mother paranoid.

Vashti that also sounds like overly anxious parent rhetoric. Those rumours were around when I was at school. Even the stories that were true usually involved fairly damaged young girls. Looking back I wouldn't be suprised if some of them had been abused.

Anyway, the point is it doesn't really matter if a few of them are off the rails - I wouldn't use those stories to fuel your already substantial maternal anxiety.

You may be right. Certainly there are plenty of people who apparently agree with you, based on the number of Junior High kids that are "dating". However, seeing all the melodrama that arises with preteen dating firsthand, I still say it's a bad idea. 12 year old boys should be playing basketball.

BTW - the rumors were substantiated by the school principle at school orientation.

At 12 you should be spending quality time with your friends and cousins drinking rum and smoking blunts (but not both) together while playing old school Nintendo games like Super Marios Bros 3, and then going to the arcade at 1 AM to play DDR. And then go home and swim until 4 AM and call it a night. Some of your memories at age 12 will be your fondest, don't waste it pursuing some girl.

But seriously, at 12? Just play some good first-person shooters and don't care about this girl
