I have no interest in dating this girl, but i have heard what is in this book and i borrowed the book from a friend to see what it was really about. Not even half way through i thought that this girl didnt deserve to be treated like that.

My so called friend had been using degradation to lower her self esteem making fun of her and making her his puppet.

I read a few pages of the book from the link posted by Mathias and I didn't think the book degraded women. It just mostly gave party and magic tips for opening up and breaking the ice with women (which is not so bad). Is your friend following the advice in the book or specifically degrades her on his own accord? Is he trying to hook her up for relationship or just to use her for sex?

The pages I read recommended to ingore the woman and approach the the group of people she is with instead. After the group of people are entertained enough then start paying attention to the girl. I didn't find a lot of comments aimed at making the woman feel insecure. There was something they reffered to as a "neg" which is niether a compliment nor and insult, kinda like a passing observational comment, that was as bad as it got from what I read.

That's a tricky issue; only because I do want my daughter to be ahead of things aswell; but the conflict of interest that exists is that girls can't keep a secret, especially from other girls, and especially on chick-crack like this..

So if she's allowed to study it, and understands the soundness of the methods and logic behind them; she'll actually make them obsolete (at least now, women read it and either deny it, or don't read it carefully enough and think "oh, this would never work, this is all BS")

I just finished reading the entire book today..

ALL OF IT (methods) are directly taken from David D'Angelo & Jeffries; I can't recall a moment in the nearly 500 pages of text where I came across something original by Mystery or Style.

All it is, is the D'Angelo & Jeffries methods applied to picking up club/bar girls. Hooray! what high standards, what a challenge!

To be fair to them, when your target isn't about to leave within the next 30 minutes, and when you are certain you're going to see them tomorrow and the day after and so on (co-workers/school/etc), then there is less pressure on the approach; so to that extent, fine.. but let's face it.. women want one-night-stands more than guys do.. they crave no-strings-attached sex.. and they go in search of guys just like this to bars and clubs, and they instead don't find them, settle for a quick ego boost from brushing off a couple of loser-guys, and go back home frustrated.. (single women, girls w/ bf's, married women).. so obviously; if these guys flood the club/bar scene and make these girls feel comfortable.. when they say "not here", the guys say "I understand" and give a wink.. and make them feel like nobody is going to find out, that they'll have that option to be together after sex, etc.. then that's going to get you to make some sounds.. (uaahh.. aahhhhh..oohahhha)

I'm actually quite upset, if I knew more about intellectual property i'd forward this book to D'Angelo & Jeffries and have them sue.

I remember reading somewhere that there is not much they can do as they are selling "advice" which is easily reworded and resold.

The model presented in the book is based on an original created by Mystery, and is not considered a violation of intellectual property rights.
