Lab sciences are a different thing.
I've done Statistics and Financial Accounting on my own.....and usually those two classes have a 40% fail rate when students actually attend class.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. - Mohandas Gandhi
I'm far from being spoon-fed. The professors here don't do that. Like I said, they make the problem sets more difficult than what the average student is capable of. So, people get together in groups and work on them, bouncing ideas around each other. And these are a bunch of really smart kids, all with their wheels turning, rubbing off on each other
I think if you guys came here you would understand
I *wished* I had the opportunity to study there. I am really starting to get into science, especially the whole Mars/NASA stuff. I have been reading a lot of mineral science, and a lot of my study on color theory has a lot to do with color vision... therefore I study a lot of theories in that area. In fact I have been developing a type of vehicle for a while that may revolutionize transportation
Unfortunately, I do not have the money to attend, and probably never will. But I will be damned if I don't end up as successful as I think I will be, even if I don't pay the millions of dollars of tuition and attend a highly credited school.
I am sure I will get an opportunity to attend one of the nicer schools if I get a chance at my PhD like I am hoping for.
Exactly, but I sure know whats socialism. You pay directly for medical threatment and education. Which is not bad, since you have welfare. Works pretty well and there is no need to call yourselves socialists. Maybe those who can't manage, get some refunds, but that doesn't make the whole country socialist. But I don't care so much about that, that socialist statement just made me laugh, thats all. Go be.
Don't expect anything.
Well, I am glad to hear that.
Don't expect anything.
I'm not.
That only means more taxing, more federal control over the economy, more censorship in the media, more gun control, more standardization in education, although to most likely, a lesser denominator.
I'd love to see states secede from the Union. I wonder if Pennsylvania would have the balls to secede. I wonder if Texas even does, anymore.
If that could exist without another civil war, I would be very appreciative. However, the chances of that happening are a little surrealistic in my opinion.
Because many would cry treason, despite the fact using force to keep a state in the Union is actually very un-American. This is why the our civil war was bullshit. The North just used the feel good "free-the-slaves" to rally the people behind them.
Fuuck the South, I'm glad the North won! A bunch of little states are weak. My great-great- can't remember how many greats uncle fought for the Confederacy, and I'm way glad they lost!
Quebec wanted to separate from Canada. They go thru this irritating, money-wasting PMS phase from time to time. But the separatists wanted to be able to keep a Canadian passport and currency. Obviously, the rest of Canada told them where to stuff it. LOL.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.
