First off, don't turn into a dick when asking for advice.

Second, she seems like she's not interested in you if she's making plans to go see other guys. It sounds like she's trying to let you down easy.

Third, your friend is a prick. I'd say you're better off without either of them.

Lastly, I agree with Ladie. You don't want a high school girlfriend when you're going to college. Not because you want to hook up with a bunch of random girls, but because you want to be able to meet new people. Both men and women. Go out to parties and be able to have fun without having to be tied down or to check in.
