Just friends or does she like me?

So I'm going out with this girl and our relationship has slowly been declining and I think its going to lead to a break up very soon, but anyways... There is this other girl who I liked a while ago before I was going out with who I'm going out with now. She knew I liked her because I asked her out and she said she didnt know me well enough but It wasnt the usual slap in the face sorta thing. We still texted eachother, talked in real life, called eachother etc...Even through this relationship I'm in atm. Recently we have been talking ALOT more every day. She has started giving me relationship advice and we vent our troubles to eachother alot. In the past 2 weeks she has started calling me Matty (my name is Matt). When she talks about my current GF she says how bad she is and that I should just break up with her. Its gotten to a point where I talk to her more than my GF...by alot... And unlike other girls (even my GF) she starts the conversations everyday. I hate to say it but I think I enjoy her company more than my GF's... SO my question is, is she just being friendly and does she want a friend out of me or is there more to it?

Oh heres some other facts...
-She has previously said "Yup, we are VERY good friends" when I say that I enjoy talking to her alot
-She keeps hinting towards doing things with me...wether it be ice cream partys at my house lol or going for a walk...

Only one way to find out. If it is that bad; break up and then ask her out.

Well, you're certainly more keen on her than your GF by all accounts. That means you need to be fair on your GF and break up with her asap or you're liable to start walking down bastard lane in asshole hills (postcode DICK).

As for if things will kick off with girl #2 after that, give it a little time following The Break Up, ask her out and you'll have your answer.
