yeah he knows everything, and he doesn't mind as long as nothing happens...he tends to be more lenient towards what i want because he's done a lot to hurt me in the past and he also knows he can trust me 100%. I think there were a couple of times when my bf seemed a little iffy at the idea of us hanging out but he always ends up telling me he doesn't care unless something happens. i wouldn't cheat on him though, or on anyone for that matter

Even though he says he doesn't care, he still might. If he seemed iffy before, he likely could feel the same way. Maybe he doesn't want to seem like the jealous type and so he's trying to pretend like it doesn't bother him?

I like the point we're trying to make is that there are a ton of guys out there for you to befriend. You don't need to stay friends with someone you have a sexual history with. Not only that, but someone that doesn't like your bf and gets angry when you get back together with him.

i guess i'd really like to have the friendship back that we had before we had sex...i guess in a way sort of forget about what happened and just be friends. As i said before, he's a lot different now. Who he is now is probably not someone i'd want a relationship with, and even though he lives so close we have completely different lives. I miss being able to talk to him like before, i do respect his opinions and what he says a lot because he is really intelligent, that's one thing i really do like a lot about him. I do realize we can't take back what happened.

Here in Vancouver though, the selection of guy friends is not great, most of them like to pretend they want to friends but actually just want to get in your pants. But m, he is a really genuine guy

This has nothing to do with #s of guys in Vancouver either. I live there, there are plenty of nice young men & women. With 2 universities and tons of colleges, & a booming tradeswork industry, this is not an issue.
