The thing is Indi, you misunderstand me quite a bit and make a lot of assumptions about me. if I haven't gotten around to a rebuttle, it's for two reasons: 1, I don't always sit online and check to see if someone has responded to a comment I made or not, and 2, for the most part arguing with you is rather tiresome.
You can take my silence as me "not liking it" but fact is I am not so egotistical that I can't listen to someone else's perspective and not take something from it. I was agreeing with Indignant, and I don't see a huge ass post towards her about the comments she made. Perhaps you are feeling sour because some of the posters are picking on you today. I made a pretty neutral comment that you could have sat back and thought about but it seems you take anything that is directed towards you as an insult. I am not a flammer, I hope you can tell the difference between an attack, such as which has been going this day and the last, and someone who can make an objective comment.
No, I haven't gotten around to your critical thinking link, but I did bookmark it. I didn't realize that by joining LF I was going to start getting homework.
I think the thing that is more annoying is having to watch what you say in case someone wants to make a huge scientific debate out of it. I think it's great that you have all this information in your brain at your disposal, and I don't have a problem with you speaking your mind, but as others have made it clear it gets old sometimes. I have my own views and beliefs and ideas and whatever you think of them I don't need to hear your total and utter condensation. But I will say that the last few posts from you that I read seemed to be pretty light from that aspect. Good for you! :-)
I read your posts. I take in what you say. You seem to give yourself cart blanche to criticize others, but as soon as you are criticized the claws come out. If you can't take the medicine, don't dish it out. I think people would be more inclined to agree with you if you didn't give off this "holier than thou" glow. Yggdrasil makes great points too but he doesn't smack his wisdom and knowledge in everyone's face, nor does he condescend. That is the true mark of a great teacher.
I think if you read close in some of my more recent threads, you would even see that I was *gasp* defending you.

Okay, Derby you are totally right. I'm sorry for being mean to you. K?

I also think that this is Indi's haven and maybe she does lash out at others, but maybe that is what stabilizes her in real life. we all have one after all.

LOL, implying this place offers stability is a bit like looking for absolution from a Texas executioner.

at least it allows us to everything we can't be in real life.
