I don't know what to say. I've slaved my ass off in $10 an hour jobs, treated like shit by clients and didn't make a tip....and it was something that required me to be specially educated in. I've met waitresses bringing home over $60k in CASH a year. Not paying taxes like the rest of us suckers. So you'll have to excuse me if I refuse to pay the 20% they think they should get. I always tip, but 15% is my max, and that's only for exceptional service. I met a 19 year old last week who waitresses at a local restaurant instead of being in college, and she's driving a 2008 Cadillac. **** that.

Its a pretty simple calculation to see on average and even on bad days they make heaps.

We don't have chains. We have pubs and privately owned restaurants that are 90% staffed with hot chicks. It is the same in the states... don't lie to me. It is the same everywhere. Its good hot chicks should be working in pubs and restaurants but I'm still not leaving a big tip just because they're hot.

PS - Chains are bound by corporate policies and as such will hire men where privately owned companies will not. I just remembered we do have a couple of chains but they're small. Even there they mostly only hire attractive young women under 25. Its about looks not skill. Skillful people would go into sales and make big bucks.

I'm a skillful person and I would rather slam my fingers in a car door than go into sales. ****, I'd rather go back to waiting tables, which I did for a long time. What I do right now is very technical and requires great attention to detail and problem solving skills but it is much easier than waiting tables, believe me.
