ROFL, well, Charlie didn't have to admit it, so he's got a sense of humour about it. There's always poking your eyes out.

Pathetic..I don,t think so.It was put into to us back in the caveman days.It is our job and responsability to procriate for the survival of the human race..A root is the highest compliment you could pay a woman in my book.As long as you are not one of those chaps that roots anything that has a pulse

Is "root" really a commonly understood word in most parts of the English-speaking world? I mean, it's easy to figure it out from the context, but it's funny. Do you say "pash", too?

I never heard it referred to this way before, but yeah - it's funny. Still, my all time favorite slang expression was Charlieboy's use of the word "wristy" for hand-job.

We should have a thread to teach us all the slang expressions used in other countries.

"The weakest soul, knowing its own weakness, and believing this truth that strength can only be developed by effort and practice, will, thus believing, at once begin to exert itself, and, adding effort to effort, patience to patience, and strength to strength, will never cease to develop, and will at last grow divinely strong."
