Okay Eco, I'm getting married in 2 weeks and I hardly think I'm an 'eejut' for it, as you say. People's choices, straight or gay, married are not, are only stupid if it hurts themselves or others. Let people make their choices and accept them, and let's stop making other people's lives our business, because they're not.

I also don't see what's PC bullshit not agreeing that heterosexual couples make better parents. I don't think they ABSOLUTELY do. I don't know that any child raised by two loving mothers or fathers is going to be any less balanced than a child raised by heterosexual parents. Maybe they'll get teased by some rednecks for having gay parents, but so what? I got teased for being skinny and poor. Kids always find ways to mess with you.

I also don't understand why some people have strong views on this. I remember the divorcee mum of my ex who stuffed up the lives of her children was categorically against gay couples having children. She said it would make the kids feel confused and in the long run it won't be good for them. I think, in the back of some people's minds gay is still considered abnormal and dangerous (for some yet unknown reason).

blue, point blank i disagree with you about gay couples adopting. they should never be 1st choice between them and a straight couple but i didn't disagree with them adopting at all, they can be a last resort choice imo.....if you read my post you'll see i don't care what people decide about marriage but i will judge them on here...yes i will. sad bunch...women especially...but good luck, hope you have a nice day! what do you care whether people think marriage is stupid. you don't, and that's all that matters.

    haha.

People that use the "as nature intended" argument usually don't understand that human nature is not only not understood (and a completely vague term), but the small amount that we do understand just shows that it isn't a black and white set of rules and restrictions that we can apply to ourselves in order to live "properly."

I don't see why gay couples shouldn't adopt. There are plenty of disfunctional families, who is to say what is functional? If a child can be raised in a nurturing and loving environment then I don't care who the parents are.

I don't know what my parents did sexually (god I don't want to)...but I know I'm a total perv and into all kinds of freaky shit but that doesn't mean that I would make a bad father.

I suppose you could argue that having two female parents or two male parents could be confusing but there are plenty of children that grow up with the love of only one of their parents, how could double that be any worse?

Straight parents can just as easily damage a child as gay parents. Not everyone is fit to parent, simple as that. I just don't believe their sexual orientation has much to do with it.

I think it's sad that people who can't put together a decent relationship have to call down the people who can. Oh well. My day will be great! Thanks!

heh are you actually disagreeing with my point that the male and female fit as nature intends?! our bodies are shaped to procreate. silly answer buddy. i'm not saying anything against gay people. everyone has a choice to do as they please and no-one should stop them. my point is clear on adoption. i'm not going to repeat myself.

blue marraige is a tradition that's silly but that's just MY opinion and yes i was wishing you a happy day coz you obviously think it's important. i think it's sad you can;t accept another persons opinion assuming they can;t hold a relationship down if they disagree with your ideals...now that is sad.

I'm not saying that men and women aren't intended to procreate. I'm arguing that there isn't one end-all be-all solution, especially when it comes to biology.

Explain why gay men (supposedly) have better (and multiple) orgasms while they're being anally penetrated without even touching their penis. Is that just God's sexual hiccup?

[edit] Actually, nature doesn't have intentions. It just rolls.

    Have you experienced this?
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I'd say the inferior gender is the one that swallows the aforementioned ejaculation.
