I actually agree with nov13 in this case, PP. Sorry, hon. Its a really shitty thing to imply there was anything fi123 could have done differently. Way to rub the parental guilt boot in there. Sadly, this kind of thing happens a lot during frosh week at uni. I feel for your daughter fi.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.
