Hope she doesn't see herself as a rebound? ...

Basically i split up with my EX not long ago, don't wanna go into it. im getting over.

However, there is this girl i work with who i've constantly liked for 3 years, we dated once but only for few weeks it was too awkward at work, and she's leaving soon.

She's had a boyfriend since and split up, as i've had a girlfriend, but now we're both single she seems much closer to me, and upset she's leaving my work place.

So im wondering if i should invite her to cinema or something? I know the best advice is what have i got to lose? But how do girls think? she likes me at least as a friend so would she be pleased i've asked her to cinema, or is it a bit weird and she'd get the wrong impression im just using her as a rebound, as this certainly, deep down, isn't the case.

just a friends at first, but dont say that. just keep it casual as, no stress. dont mention that its "just as friends" or that its "a date"
just keep it as going to the movies.
