So I'm guessing you're not originally from Texas. I don't know why everybody thinks Philadelphia is black, is that what the media portrays down there in the south? Most of the blacks are in North and North West. That hardly represents the rest of Philadelphia, my part especially in the North East which is made up of mostly whites, asians, russians, jews and Indians. And...no, most people in Philadelphia don't try to act black, that nigger/wigger type of behavior is mostly found in the surrounding suburbs, bunch of yuppies and wannabe's just tryin' to show how tough they are by putting on a pair of shitty Timberland boots and turning their hat sideways while walking the oh so dangerous streets of upper middle class neighborhoods.

I have, is it my personal preferance no are there all kindss of people out there in the world yes it does not matter what color they are it matters what kind of person they are in the inside. i seriously dont think that my parents would be happy with it right away but eventually they would care for what makes me happy. It does not matter that u r white and open doors and or that you are black and may not do anything that applies to anyone who does not care really, all people despite of black and white can be total assholes. I often wonder why "Jews" are a special category. After all, aren't there white jews or asian jews or russian jews, black jews, purple jews? And where do the Catholics live? It's the same issue I have against playing the minority card. We separate ourselves. It seems that if you are Jewish, you are Jewish before anything else..race (if you choose to believe there is such a thing), ethnicity, nationality, all things I don't care about anyway. I guess it falls back to culture..and this I agree with. That's where the major difference is among humans: Culture. As someone suggested, it's not skin color..a black man living in Italy can be more italian than an american with italian descent. That can really divide people, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.. Diversity is a good thing, in my book, but there must be tolerance. You can choose to like or dislike a culture, and do or not do what a culture dictates, but don't call it right or wrong...just different and choose your preferences.

And yes, I'd date outside my culture/ethnicity/any other bullshit separating categories.

well, the US is almost entirely protestant christian, but there are some community centers that are: jewish, muslim, etc... We even have one that is Wiccan next to where I live. i go there all the time, it's the religion that is closest to my own.
