I realize it's 2009 and it's very common nowadays to see interracial couples, however some people still get pretty 'weird' about it from what i've experienced personally.

How do you all feel about it?

And what interracial couple mix do you see the most where you live?

I don't hardly see any Abbos with non-Abbos where I normally live. The Abbos have a lot of hangups which they blame on anyone but themselves, at least in our shared modern world.... Most non-Abbos just don't have the time to deal with the damage.

Everyone else.... well, it's a mixture. Some families are strict 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation conservatives, while other families have some liberal seed in them which negates the norm.

There's no real way of telling... although family principles are more or less expected to be followed in 3/4 of the situations, by the entering mate... especially when you're with a daughter...even if the daughter rebukes the family mantra..... both have to pretend for entirety.

It's shit. Come to the western world, live by western principles. Don't like it..... piss the hell off back to wherever you came from.

I live in a VERY multicultural place, and interracial dating here is the norm. No one looks at you weird at all.

I've dated many men of different races/cultures and was even married to an Indian man (as in, from India, not 'native').

but sadly its still something that people don't accept (even some people in my family), they say its because of cultural differences. although i don't agree, i do accept people who think this way.

I'd be part of the white/asian mix, but even when it's so common people still stare and what not. I don't let it bother me, it's just a little agitating. It's annoying when you're trying to have dinner and there are strangers staring at you because of who you're with.

With a very large asian population here its fairly common to see white guys with asian girls, which isn't treated any differently, though its rarer to find a white girl with an asian guy.

But in general there's not that much of a big deal about it.

What are Abbos anyways? Never heard of that term, cant tell whether its closer to arabs or aboriginals ;P

yeah, it's not a deal at all. My brother has been dating a white girl actually...blonde hair blue eyes. That was a big deal to my parents but they got over it eventually, she's living with us basically.
