Really in my personal opinion it comes down to physical contact with one another, holding hands and actually kissing that makes it official, and if they or you see it indifferently then neither one of you is ready to get things going together and best to split off. Besides asking a question like that is bullcrap to begin with, I know I change my mind more than the wind changes direction, same applies for a statement like that unless real events say otherwise, yeah?
