I would say it's more the causes or consequences of the act than the act itself.

Causes of the act: Daddy issues, emotionally disturbed, extreme self esteem issues, etc.

Consequences of the act: STD's, unwanted babies, obsession with a previous partner(s)

Interesting view. Causes and consequences make sense but do you mean within the present time? Because in the past she could of been really ****ed up and ****ed a bunch of guys yet now she has changed therefore her causes and consequences have changed. So would you judge her past causes and consequences?

I am a writer thank you and I study psychology from an evolutionary standpoint. I think I am entitled to gather other peoples theories and opinions without being labeled a virgin or inexperienced which are both drastic claims considering the only thing you know about me is text on a forum. He could actually be studying psychology (and be a virgin, which I think he is, he hasn't denied), he's just not understanding what he's studying, otherwise he wouldn't be opening stupid threads like this one. It's not how science works, your hypothesis has to make at least some sense.

Unfortunately the number of people you accumulated it with is the problem. Liking sex and being sexual is more important to most men when you're only doing it with them and have only done it before them with a discerning few choices. This holds true for many men even if they haven't been discerning and, they are'nt only doing it with you.

That old double standard already mentioned... of course there is alway exceptions and more times than not, the ones that aren't bothered usually end up with a kindred spirit... eventually.

This whole thread has me stumped. I had sex with my partner on the night of the day we met. A whole night of glorious, mind blowing shagging. He asked me out on our first date shortly after and we've now been together for 20 years.

Why does the fact that I followed my instincts and had sex with someone I barely knew make me not relationship material? And if I'm not relationship material, why is our partnership so good?
