I know many have these ideas that if it did not happen then they were not the correct one for you.
I think we tell ourselves this because it's easier to deal with emotionally then accepting that the correct person for you is gone because you screwed up! Sometimes the right woman get's away for whatever reason, and we have to fill the gap with a substitute.
Does anyone else feel the same way honestly?

No. I think the only way you can blame yourself is if you were a liar, a cheat, abusive, ignored her, an addict or an alcho or just plain lazy.
If you were treating her right and she got away-its not your fault. It wasnt meant to be"Don't ask a question if you can't handle the answer".

It can be either reason. Sometimes we screw up and sometimes they simply aren't the right person for you.
The question is whether or not you actually DID screw upNever regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
