First off.. hi! I'm jenna i'm from the cheese state and i'm an aspiring country singer.. I also have a question--> So, there's this guy I met at the grocery store (weird I know) lol but, he was handsome and he asked if I was single, we talked for a while and then he asked for my number. He even hugged me

goodbye. He texts me right after and says here's the convo. Let's call him "Bob".

Hey Jenna, it's Bob.

Me: Oh, hi! Did you find your protein thing? lol

Bob: Vitamin C and yes I did. lol

Me: Well, that's good! lol

And, then he didn't respond anymore. It's been almost a week and I haven't heard or seen anything lately. I was wondering if I should invite him to one of my upcoming gigs but, he hasn't contacted me lately so, I'm not sure if I should.

I don't want to be waiting around forever to hear from a guy. It's not fun. lol So, what do you think? Would you ask him or would say forget it because he hasn't contacted you in a while?

text him back. That's what i would do.

Many guys get side tracked (not that it's an excuse) and sometimes don't follow up, or perhaps he may even feel like too much time has gone by since he last text ed you and feels awkward about it.

keep it short and to the point. Ask him out for a coffee or something.

I wouldn't advise you to invite him to a show just yet as you should take the time to get to know this guy and see if it's worth moving ahead.

The most crucial part of first seeing someone is to understand the chemistry aspect... Do you you have things in common? what's he like? besides physical attraction is there anything else?

These are all important factors you should test the waters with first IMO.

If you invited him to a show I'm sure he would go but you would be performing and wouldn't get the chance to know him any better.

Start slow and eventually if it works out then a show is in the future i'm sure.
