    Actually after having watched that sex documentary.

    I figure morning wood is not always a result of sexual arousal.

    According to this doc. the penis when not erect is actually tense. It's natural state, or state in which is it relaxed is actually when it is erect, as the muscles limited blood flow are relaxed.

    So I figure, guys often have morning wood because they're most relaxed while sleeping.

    Just food for thought.

    Yes correct, 90% of all morning wood is not a result of sexual tenstion, rather a state of relaxation resulting from your post-REM cycles, most notable the last one before awaking.
