i wouldn't worry about you having done anything or come on too strong. You don't know what she has going on in her life. She could have gotten back together with an ex, become exclusive with a guy she was casually dating, or has terrible cold sore that she doesn't want you to see.

I only skimmed your post, G, but did you post she got all emotional and nearly bawled on your date?
Ewwww. My instinct was 'unstable'. I don't think ppl should be oversharing their emotions on a first (or 2,3,4..) date.
