    Culturally speaking.

I'm not looking to break no borders, I just want some dudes to play videogames and even boards games like Settlers of Catan.

My point is, is that there's a greater chance that forging a friendship with any of them would be difficult as a result of their background, as well as age.

Damn, I'm already aware of the fact that the way I talk already sets me apart from most of them.
Theres over 8 million people who play the game, so naturally there is a huge opportunity for social interaction.
Have you ever been to a LAN party?

If so, then you'd know the dynamics of socializing in person vary greatly from speaking to people over the internet.

People just need to see the sun sometimes.
There are moments when one feels free from one's own identification with human limitations and inadequacies. At such moments one imagines that one stands on some spot of a small planet, gazing in amazement at the cold yet profoundly moving beauty of the eternal, the unfathomable; life and death flow into one, and there is neither evolution nor destiny; only Being. - Albert Einstein

culture my ass. my best friend is black, and he comes from a different state. i don't like those wanksta kind of black people though. my best friend is more sophisticated than that. don't go generalizing black people like that.

then again, you know your black acquaintances better than i do.

Exactly, so don't go get all self-righteous on my ass.

    I live in Philadelphia.

    That's a city.

How a lot of these guys speak and act differs how I speak and act simply due to the way they were raised (culture).

    That's not prejudice.

    Prejudice would be a pre-judgment.

No, I'm simply stating fact as a result of direct interaction and observation.

oh, self righteous my ass. i'm not self righteous.

keep in mind that i come from a city. this city is where my best friend lives, along with several other black friends.

if you don't want to befriend black people, then don't. i don't really see color of skin. my black friends are very loyal, and they don't play world of warcraft.

and i didn't call you prejudice. don't put words in my mouth.

If ya didn't see skin color, then there'd be no need for you to mention your friend's skin tone. It's obviously something you pay mind to.

As does everyone else, whether they'd like to admit it or not.

if you understood the difference between a metaphor and a literal statement, you'd see how much of an idiot you just made out of yourself.

you need to stop bitching about your friends and go do something about it.

"i don't really see color of the skin" is the metaphor i'm talking about.

If I present them with the idea of not playing WoW, they want to me to have some sort of plan all laid out for them to follow. Basically, until I come up with something they all want to do, they'll just sit there and play that ****ing game.

I'm actually considering just going out and finding new friends.

Seriously, this is ridiculous, and all they ****in' say when I mention that it's all they do, they tell me to pick it up too. **** that shit. It's literally like an addiction, they'll deny it, but really everything else comes second, ****ing pathetic.
^^ bitching about your friends. big ****ing deal they are playing WoW. worse things could happen.

Dammit, Fras, why do you have to live so far away? None of my friends will play boardgames like Catan with me. I've been itching to give it and some others a try.
