I'm liking the idea of poking him with a stick better now.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Guys, are some of you just terrified of women, or absolutely indifferent?
What's the best way of trying to get him out of his shell? Or should I just let him be?
sounds a little bit like me.

there is a girl at my place of work who always does poke me and stuff, sortof like gigabitch's suggestion, except without a stick. she shoots rubberbands at me and yesterday i bent over to grab something and she slapped my ass. i am thinking about asking her on a date now.

just do stupid stuff like that, but not to a point where it is annoying.

I think you're right. Funny how that kind of arrogance and shyness can go hand in hand. :S Too shy to be friendly, yet proud enough to wonder if the same girl thinks he's hot.

or maybe he sas had people taking the micky out of his ganglyness all his childhood and now he is all closed in and cold to humanity as a whole because now he believes that the only reason thet any one wants to talk to him is so that they can find something to mess him up with.

or maybe he is in a job he hates immensley at some level and he dis-asociates his life from his job by not makeing any personal contact in work environment as a means of staying sane.

or maybe he just wishes to be left alone. some people are like that. in the far of days of yore they would have joined a monastry or become a hermit.

it does not mean there is anything wrong with them.
    not strange, just diferently normal.

haha, ive met a few who are like that in class. the more he secludes himself from everyone and shy away, the more i talk to him and try to make him feel at ease. haha, i dunno, i just find it a challenge. and i dont feel at ease when someone's left out..or something. so i always make it to a point that everyone's happy and dandy.
