You've gotta think if you've gone wrong anywhere and I'm including about anything petty, boys are stupid, lame and rubbish, they don't give people a chance, if you step out of line, then they turn into a sap. Ask if it's anything to do with you, and FORCE a yes no answer,
if he says yes, force out why, don't be scared to get angry at him
if he says no, EVEN if he's lying then at least you can use that against him later on if he suddenly comes out with the truth,
For example if he says no it's not about you, and then he's bitter towards you, then DOn'T be scared to get angry at him, just because he's moody and it's aparently not about you doesn't give him any rights to get you involved and reflect his depression, if these are periodical, you've gotta remember that it's impossible for (espcially a boy) to be happy 24/7 so yeah, don't sweat it if it's a periodical thing, if it's a long running thing, my advice still applies, if he's not going to do something and sort it out himself, attempt to help and if he doesn't accept it, Do NOT be scared to get angry at him, say your worried, say you care, and say he should accept a helping hand, if he throws it back in your face, or ignores you, then be bitter back, just don't go too far or you might break up and I'll become hated *eek*...
