And, I was a "bad boy" for awhile in college (like I've said before)...and I regret every meaningful sexual relationship I had back then.

You said temptation earlier...the thing that worries me in terms of relationships in general...my fear in relationships is that I could quite easily fall back into my nihilistic sexual behaviors of my youth....just meaningless sex where I was never mentally present in any relationship that I had. I won't allow myself to do that--I haven't and I won't. I'd rather be alone for life.

You sound sane. =) Solitude over pleasure for the sake of pleasure... Most people don't come to that line for ages, I think. I came to it before "for the sake of pleasure". So I guess what you're saying reminds me a little of myself, minus the past experience.

Re: Topic: It's good that it ended and ended well. "With benefits" seems like it'd get in the way when starting a relationship. "Sure, I'll go out with you. Let me just tell this girl that we won't be able to have sex anymore..." And if you don't say that, then the "benefits" fall into the category of "dirty little secret". And we all know what happens when those come into play--all hell breaks loose.

Just tell her that FWB is not the road to a long term relationship. That FWB is the is the destination. She will more then likely get attached to you. Especially if it goes on for some time
My boyfriend has a speech impediment, every now and then he stops to breath
